Why Support Us

Covenant House Toronto, part of an internationally recognized child care network, has offered opportunity and hope to over 95,000 homeless young people over more than 35 years.

As Canada's largest agency serving at-risk, homeless and trafficked youth, Covenant House changes lives by providing the widest range of services and support to as many as 250 youth a day. A national leader, we educate and advocate for change by influencing public policy and delivering prevention and awareness programs.

Our staff provides exceptional care and support for the young people who turn to us, and helps them navigate issues like abuse, neglect, addictions, mental illness, sexual exploitation and gangs.

Our programs range include our crisis shelter, transitional housing onsite and in the community, life skills training and counselling to help young people as they move to independence through education and job assistance.

We rely primarily on donors who share our mission and vision for these young people. This gives us the flexibility to develop and deliver services for our kids as needs emerge.

In the words of one of our youth, “Covenant House gives me what I need for today and for tomorrow.”
