Am I suicidal?

If you answer "Yes" to three or more of the questions below, you may be suffering from depression and/or may be at-risk for committing suicide.

If you are feeling depressed or suicidal, you must talk about your feelings with someone you can trust. You can also call Kids Help Phone 24/7 at 1-800-668-6868.

1. Are you obsessed with thoughts of death, dying and suicide?
2. Have you attempted suicide in the past?
3. Have you ever tried to hurt or harm yourself, for example by cutting yourself?
4. Have you experienced a sudden change in appetite or weight?
5. Have your sleeping patterns changed?
6. Are you less energetic and more tired?
7. Are you feeling guilty or worthless?
8. Are you having difficulty concentrating or making decisions?
9. Do you not feel like talking much anymore and feel withdrawn or depressed?
10. Are you speaking, thinking or moving slower than usual?
11. Are you disinterested in things that normally make you happy? (school, work, sports, friends, family?)
