Covenant House among new Nordstrom nonprofit partners

TORONTO – October 5, 2020 - Nordstrom recently announced that the company’s give-back brand, Treasure & Bond, will partner with Covenant House Toronto as part of a new North American campaign in support of youth experiencing homelessness.

This is a new strategy that will enable the brand to offer more localized support in key communities Nordstrom serves. In addition to Covenant House, other beneficiaries include: The Ali Forney Center in New York City; Youth Emerging Stronger in Los Angeles; The Night Ministry in Chicago; and YouthCare in Seattle.

“Thank you so much to Nordstrom for investing in programs and initiatives that are so important to our community and support the core of our work. With Nordstrom’s support, we can continue to help youth who are homeless, trafficked or at-risk, take back control of their lives and build a brighter future,” says Josie do Rego, director of development and communications at Covenant House Toronto.

“Our new strategy of partnering with smaller organizations in specific regions allows us to connect with the communities where we do business in an impactful way,” said Jennifer Jackson Brown, EVP, President of Nordstrom Product Group at Nordstrom. “Treasure & Bond’s give-back promise remains at the heart of the brand, and we’re excited to show our customers another way Nordstrom is working to leave the world better than we found it.”

Those interested in supporting Covenant House through this new partnership can do so by purchasing Treasure & Bond merchandise in Nordstrom stores and online at Nordstrom.com.
