Bilingual Customer Service Representative
Temporary Position
October 2017 to January 2018

As Canada's largest homeless youth agency, Covenant House Toronto changes lives by providing the widest range of services and support under one roof. A national leader, we educate and advocate for change to help at-risk, homeless and trafficked youth.

More than a place to stay, we provide 24/7 crisis shelter and transitional housing on-site and in the community along with comprehensive services including education, counseling, health care, employment assistance, job training, and aftercare.

We work to help homeless youth move from a life on the street to a life with a future.
Over the past 35 years, Covenant House has served more than 90,000 young people.

The incumbent will be responsible for:
• Respond to donors inquiries via phone, mail or email in a professional and efficient manner.
• Update donor information and track all points of contact with donors via Raiser’s Edge donor database.
• Setting up computer records of all new donors
• Maintenance of all computerized donor files
• Sending out information packages and materials requested by donors.
• Perform routine maintenance of work.
• Other duties as assigned.

Applicants should possess a High School Diploma with at least two years experience in a computerized office setting, excellent organizational skills, and knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Experience in data entry is preferred. Bilingual in French/English is an asset.

Chosen candidates will be exposed to Raiser’s Edge software which is widely used by non-profit agencies in Toronto. Training will be provided.

Full-time hours, pay rate $14 per hour, work hours between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. Please send your resume along with a cover letter to the Human Resources Department by October 30th, 2017
